You are not allergic!

In the car on the way to school this morning.....

Jakson: Mum did you get tomatoes? Rememebr I said I want to try them
Me: Yes I did, they are at home
Jakson: But I don't want the skin on them or the nuts in them
Me: They don't have nuts, they have pips sweetie and yes I can take them out for you
Jakson: good, lucky it's not nuts because I'm dallergic to them (dallergic is Jakson's version of allergic)
Me: You're not allergic to nuts
Jakson: Yes I am dallergic to nuts
Me: No you're not
Jakson: YES I AM DALLERGIC TO NUTS
Me: fine, then you can't have nutella
Jakson: oh, really? does it have nuts in it?
Me: Yep
Jakson: I can have nutella, it's just peanut butter jam I'm dallergic to
Me: you mean peanut butter?
Jakson: yeah peanut butter jam
Me: it's not peanut butter jam, it's just peanut butter
Jakson: so I'm only dallergic to peanut butter
Me: YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO ANY FOOD
Jakson: But I am dallergic to electricity
Me: WHAT! you are not allergic to electricity
Jakson: *insert smugness* but if I touch electricity then I'll die
Me: FINE! you're allergic to electricity but not nuts!

What can be in charge?

A little conversation with Jakson....


Jakson: my brain still hurts from when someone threw a stick at me
Me: are you ok?
Jakson: ummm, no. I think my brain will be in sick bay for a while, so I will have to put another part of my body in charge.
Me: umm...ok, which part will you put in charge?
Jakson: I was thinking maybe my lungs. My stomach is too noisy with the machine in there crunching the food and my heart is too noisy pumping but my lungs are just right for the job.
