Waiting outside Jakson's classroom for him at the end of the day, and he hadn't come out when the bell rang.

We went inside to find him and saw him with his teacher and another child talking.

We waited for him and than asked him if everything was ok, he casually replied "yeah, I was just having a tantrum" I was a bit shocked because Jakson has only ever had maybe 4 tantrums in his life!
I queried him on this and asked what he meant and he said "you know what I mean, remember last week we I got hurt and my teacher said we would have a tantrum about it" it was than that I realised he meant meeting, not tantrum! LOL

I went on to explain the difference between tantrum and meeting, hopefully we don't hear about him having any real tantrums in class ;)

How many?!

Jakson came to me this afternoon with a sore tummy....
Jakson: mummy, my tummy is sore
Me: Why do you think it's sore sweetie
Jakson: Maybe because I ate 7 chocolates
Me: 7! why did you eat 7?
Jakson: oh did you just say to eat 1? I thought you said 7
Me: Jaks, do you really think I would tell you to eat 7?
Jakson: Maybe I just didn't hear you properly
I'm pretty certain that I didn't say to have 7 chocolates, hopefully someone learnt their lesson though ;) lol

The things the learn...

Today in the middle of a very busy Kmart, Jakson got down on bended knee, put his hand on his heart, reached his other hand out to me and asked me to marry him.

When I asked him later why he did that, he said because he saw Homer Simpson do it, lol

Such a relief!

Jakson was feeling a little bit sick during the night and woke up at about 4.30 this morning, Johnny checked on him and Jakson said that he felt like he was going to vomit....and than clarified  "but I'm not pregnant Daddy"

Such a relief to know he is not pregnant, lol

Lunch orders!

Since starting school there has been so many new things Jakson has been learning, one of them being the joy of lunch orders....although I'm not really sure he understood the concept at first

The conversation I had with Jakson when I picked him up from school after he had his first lunch order:

Me: Did you enjoy your lunch?
Jakson: when I looked in my lunch box there wasn't a sandwich in there :(
Me: Remember how you put the brown paper bag in the box this morning, that was your lunch order. Did you get that at lunch time
Jakson: oh yeah, I did get it. Did you just come down and put some food it in for me to have at lunch time and than they gave it back to me?
Me: No I didn't sweetie, they make the food at the school and put it in the bag and send it back to your class room
Jakson: Oh wow, do they have an oven here?
Me:  yes they do

What a smart boy ;)

Driving along in the car Jakson randomly came out with one of the best comments ever ;)

"daddy, I'm almost smarter than mummy, so that means I'm smarter than you" :)

I couldn't argue with him, lol

A child of technology

Since starting school Jakson has been very eager to learn.

He work up the other morning and straight away wanted to start spelling words and writing. He kept asking me how to spell words and I told him that I'm still waking up and my brain isn't working yet, his reply.....

"is your brain still loading" LOL

If only it were that easy

We've been counting day the days until we have our next ultrasound and find out if we are having a boy :boy: or girl :girl:

Jakson is getting a little impatient and asked me if I could just call God and ask him, cause God knows everything

Feeling sick...but

Jakson was feeling a little bit sick last night and woke up at about 4.30 this morning, Johnny checked on him and Jakson said that he felt like he was going to vomit....and than clarified that "but I'm not pregnant" LOL

Good to know Jaks!
